Agne Nilsson

Agne is a co-founder of enb and he specialises in strategic consultancy projects and aligning leading banks with their clients. He has extensive banking experience in capital markets as well as corporate and structured finance.

Agne worked in wholesale positions for Christiana Bank in Oslo, New York and Luxemburg. He moved to take up a position as Vice President and head of Northern European Clients with Chase Manhattan Bank’s Global Risk Management Group. He later joined Bank of America as a Managing Director, Head of Structuring, Origination and Distribution for Europe, Middle-East and Africa.

In 1996 Agne was appointed Executive Director of Kleinwort Benson and Global Head of Financial Engineering for Dresdner Bank and was responsible for bridging Global Corporate Finance and Global Markets.

Agne is renowned as an inspirational coach to senior and board level directors. He has a rare ability to combine his extensive ‘real world’ banking experience with incisive comment and a fresh vision for every client. His consultancy work focuses on helping top teams formulate and implement wholesale strategy programmes. Agne’s facilitation style is a proven catalyst for transforming individuals, teams and organisations.

Prior to his banking career, Agne worked with Saatchi and Saatchi, following degrees in both Economics and Marketing.

Agne’s passion is sailing. In 2005 he skippered a Rolex Fastnet Race yacht and the qualifying race campaign. He designed the campaign around building a crew of mixed sailing experience and ability and turning it into a high performance racing team. He also competes in other races and regattas in UK waters and across the world and takes clients for teambuilding days in the Solent.
